Refrain from using cryptic listings, rather incorporate them into the storyline of the paper.  Don’t write in cryptic form.  You need to articulate further, remember the reader is not there for you to explain what you mean.  In academic writing, you need to substantiate your argument by referencing authoritative sources.  You also need to be more careful in your narrative and refrain from using cryptic writing.  After all, you would like to convince the reader of your point of view in your absence – it all has to come across in what you write down.
